At Poet Farmer, we have been a long-time partner of International IDEA, an organization dedicated to supporting democracy for over 30 years. We have collaborated on numerous projects, pages and initiatives that promote democratic values and reach a diverse audience, from journalists to world leaders including US Presidents.
interviews and testing for optimal UX
For the design and development of IDEA’s new website in 2022, we conducted extensive interviews with stakeholders and users at every level and from every region where IDEA is present. This ensured that we could cover all requirements and structure the pages as effectively as possible. In addition to the interviews, we held live testing sessions with users and implemented the Userback platform to gather and process feedback, bug reports, and recommendations. The ‘Explore’ function for the dynamic content on IDEA’s website was validated through these methods.
Design System
To ensure consistency and quality in the new design for the future, we created a design system documenting all of the new digital assets. The creation of new project pages and initiatives now takes less time, allowing IDEA to focus on their more important tasks.
